Product Overview
A digital brain topography system is a multifunctional instrument that integrates electroencephalography (EEG), brain topography mapping, and brain monitoring, for clinical use in the acquisition, analysis, and management of brain signals.
Principles
Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals are collected from electrodes at different locations on the head. After filtering out interference signals, the signals are amplified and input into a computer's analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to convert the waveform signals into digital information stored in the computer's memory. Based on the voltage variables at different time phases, a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is performed to process the signals into power spectra in different frequency domains.
Advantage
- It can generate EEGs with various unipolar, bipolar, and custom leads.
- Real-time data acquisition and dynamic scrolling monitoring
- Scrolling back and forth, arbitrarily capturing data for brain topography analysis across various frequency bands.
- Case database classification management, multiple event descriptions
Application
1. Electroencephalography (EEG) is currently the most ideal and reliable diagnostic tool for functional disorders, such as: primary epilepsy, psychiatric disorders, concussion, and post-traumatic brain injury syndrome.
- It can assist in the diagnosis of organic diseases, even in the early stages when brain tissue only shows functional changes, thus enabling ultra-early diagnosis, such as in the diagnosis of brain tumors and the differential diagnosis between malignant and benign tumors.
3.It can also assist in the evaluation of disease treatment and prognosis.
4.It can assist in the diagnosis of ophthalmic and otolaryngological diseases; visual evoked potential topography and auditory evoked potential topography can aid in the diagnosis of certain ophthalmic and otolaryngological diseases.
5.Other applications: EEG also has wide-ranging uses in anesthesiology, rehabilitation medicine, and basic medical research.

Main parameters
1. Core components (signal acquisition module, amplifier, processor) utilize industrial-grade components, possessing anti-interference and temperature/humidity variation resistance characteristics to ensure long-term continuous and fault-free operation.
2. Electrodes and cables use highly shielded materials to reduce electromagnetic interference and signal attenuation, ensuring stable EEG signal transmission; the interface design is robust to avoid poor contact caused by frequent plugging and unplugging.
3. 16-lead real-time acquisition, dynamic scrolling monitoring.
4. Digital EEG, topographic mapping, and EEG monitoring integrated into one system.
5. Customizable and tagging functions for various events such as eye-opening, eye-closing, deep breathing, photic stimulation, auditory stimulation, and visual stimulation.
6. Scrolling playback function; arbitrary data extraction and analysis of brain topographic maps across various frequency bands; representation of absolute layered topographic maps, relative layered topographic maps: histograms, and dynamic waveform topographic maps.
7. Multiple topographic map display modes; rapid conversion of EEG waveforms into brain topographic maps.
8. Video monitoring and photic monitoring functions.
